Iran Leading Two Points After Third Match |
 The Iranian team defeated Turkey 2.5-1.5 in the third match of the Turkey-Iran Friendship chess match.
Two International Masters Pouria Darini and Javad Alavi Sayed turned out to be the winner amongst Iranians defeating GM Kivanc Haznedaroglu and IM Ogulcan Kanmazalp respectively on the top and fourth board while Grandmaster Elshan Moradiabadi played out a draw with GM Emre Can to ensure an Iranian victory after GM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami was outdone by IM Mustafa Yilmaz on the third board.
With this victory the Iranians, slightly high in terms of average ratings, got two points lead in the three match contest.
